The Charlie Wilde Collaboration
Since early days, Elena & Charlie have collaborated together each year to create an annual portrait.
Responding to Charlie’s musical narrative and lyrics, Elena will transmogrify his work in a visual medium, embedding him into his songs incarnate. Together, the two explore themes of yearning, loss, intimacy and melancholia.
E(N)MOTION (2019)
E(N)MOTION investigates the shifting ephemeral boundaries of personal space and its relation to the human body.
The mechanism, created by architect Simeon Chua, pushes in and out, responding to the user’s changing notions of personal space.
The mechanism is worn by dancer Megan Schoonderbeek.
